Our advanced NAC Intercom with NAC Side Tone is designed for FM 2 Meter, PMR446, LPD443, FRS/GMRS and AM Air Band Radios. It connects via an interchangeable spiral shielded cable to prevent interference and uses a mini XLR 6 Pin Connector for reliable performance.

This Helmet works with various radios, can be easily replaced if damaged, or left unplugged to avoid tangles when flying without one. When someone wants to communicate, the music volume automatically lowers. If you answer, the music stops with a press of the P.T.T., Push to Talk Button, letting you hear the transmission, and then gradually returns to normal after releasing the button.

The Microphone is highly flexible and can rotate 270º, allowing placement on either the left or right side. It features an Electronic Noise Canceling Mic with a Wind Stopper Foam Cover.

Additionally, NAC Side Tone monitors the transmitted signal using the advanced SRM25i circuit and adjusts the microphone gain, a process already performed at the factory. However, it can be modified if the walkie model requires it or if the transmitted signal volume is too low.

Communication is activated by the P.T.T. Button, located on the outer part of the shell, and you can choose which side you want it on. The P.T.T. Button is wide, sensitive, and built with silver contacts and consistent pressure for flawless performance. Clear communication is ensured by a specially designed microphone with noise suppression. If your walkie has a VOX System, you don’t need to press the P.T.T., just speak to start transmitting. While a special cable might be required, using it is discouraged to prevent accidental activation. Finally, you can choose medium or high attenuation ear defenders based on engine noise. OPII for medium and X5 for high.
