On October 30th., 1992, in the United States and Canada, Walt Disney Home Video released The Film on VHS as part of the Walt Disney Classics Series, before placing it On Moratorium on April 30th., 1993. This Version includes a minor edit to The Film, removing Skulls that briefly appear in Gaston’s Pupils for two frames during his climactic Fall to his Death.

An Enchantress, disguised as a Beggar Woman, offers a Rose to a Cruel and Selfish Prince in exchange for shelter from a storm. When he turns her away, she reveals her true identity and, as punishment for his arrogance, transforms him into a Horrendous Beast and his Servants into Household Objects. She Enchants The Rose, warning that The Curse will only be broken if he learns to Love and Be Loved in return before the Last Petal Falls, or he will Remain a Beast Forever.
