1998 SPECIAL EDITION, VHS COPY OF THE 1956 FILM, THE SEARCHERS, STILL SEALED!!!

Unlike older standard Pan and Scan Home Video Copies, this version features a Wide Screen Transfer to preserve The Cinematic Scope of The Original 1956 Film.

Set in 1868 Texas, The Story follows Ethan Edwards, played by John Wayne, a deeply embittered, Anti-Hero Confederate Veteran. After his brother’s family homestead is decimated in a Comanche Raid, his young niece, Debbie, played by Natalie Wood, is kidnapped. Ethan embarks on a grueling Five Year Odyssey to track her down, accompanied by his adopted, Part Cherokee Nephew, Martin Pawley, played by Jeffrey Hunter. As The Search drags on, Ethan’s mission shifts from a rescue operation into a terrifying, psychologically haunted quest driven by profound racial hatred and a desire for Vengeance!!!
