Asuka was born on December 4th., 2001. She is the Daughter of an Employee belonging to a Research Center named Gehirn. She has German and Japanese blood, along with a US Citizenship. In 2005, her Mother participated in a Failed Contact Experiment with Unit #02, but because of an accident, suffered a Severe Mental Breakdown, becoming Permanently Hospitalized.
Asuka is a very Proud Individual, especially in her Piloting and often comes across to others as Conceited. Despite this, it is clear she is Strong and others hold a Very High Opinion of both Her Appearance and Her Skill as an EVA Pilot!!!
