RARE, VINTAGE, 1974 OPEE CHEE, NOEL PRICE, ATLANTA FLAMES HOCKEY CARD!!!
Garry, Noel Price was born in Brockville, Ontario. He was a Canadian Professional Hockey Defenceman. He played in the NHL with Seven Teams between 1957 and 1976. He also spent considerable time in The AHL during his career, which lasted from 1956 to 1976.
Price started his NHL Career with The Toronto Maple Leafs in 1958. He would also play for The New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens, Los Angeles Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins and The Atlanta Flames. He won one Stanley Cup with Montreal in 1966.
He was traded along with Denis DeJordy, Dale Hoganson and Doug Robinson from The Kings to The Canadiens for Rogie Vachon on November 4th., 1971.
He retired after The 1976 season as the last remaining Original Member of The Pittsburgh Penguins’ 1967 / 1968 Expansion Team.
The Atlanta Flames were a NHL Franchise that played in Atlanta, Georgia, from 1972 to 1980. Founded as an Expansion Team to counter The Rival WHA, The Team qualified for The Playoffs in Six of their Eight Seasons but never won a Playoff Series. Due to financial struggles, The Franchise relocated to Calgary, Alberta before the 1980 / 1981 Season and became The Calgary Flames!!!
