The 1982 Aerosmith, Rock in a Hard Place Album represents a unique and transitional era for The Legendary Rock Band. It was Released on August 27th., 1982, by Columbia Records and CBS Records Internationally. It is The Only Aerosmith Studio Album that does not feature Lead Guitarist, Joe Perry, who had left The Group in 1979. Rhythm Guitarist, Brad Whitford also departed midway through The Recording Sessions.

Original 1982 pressings of The Cassette were primarily distributed in standard beige or black jewel cases with a Fold Out J Card Insert!!!
